Help Us Show Up for Someone Who Could Use It
We all know someone going through a difficult season. A family facing unexpected challenges. Parents carrying more than most people see. A situation that feels heavy—where a little support could go a long way.
The Good Shire Foundation exists to show up for families like these—quietly, thoughtfully, and with the strength of a community behind them. If someone comes to mind, we invite you to nominate them.
🫶 Who We Support
We support families—primarily within our local community—who are navigating challenging circumstances, such as:
- Serious medical conditions or ongoing care
- Sudden hardships or unexpected life events
- Situations requiring long-term support or stability
- Other moments where a family could truly benefit from community support
Every situation is unique. If you're unsure, we encourage you to still reach out.
📝 What Happens After You Nominate
We approach every nomination with care and respect.
- Each submission is thoughtfully reviewed
- We may follow up for additional context if needed
- We only move forward with the family's consent and comfort
- Privacy and dignity are always prioritized
While we may not be able to support every request, every story is handled with intention.
🔒 A Note on Privacy
We understand how personal these situations can be. All nominations are kept confidential, and any outreach is handled with care.
Our goal is to support—not overwhelm—and to ensure families feel comfortable every step of the way.

A Community That Shows Up
Sometimes the most meaningful thing we can do is simply notice—and take a step to help. Thank you for being part of a community that shows up for one another.
